Greater New Orleans Contract Financing Program

Capital Access Project (“CAP”) and the National Association of Minority Contractors- Greater New Orleans Chapter (“NAMC”) are pleased to announce a new program to help their subcontractors gain access to financing which will provide the working capital they need to take advantage of opportunities on public and private construction projects.  One of the most oft-cited issues which prohibit small and mid-sized businesses from participating in construction work is the lack of affordable working capital.  Financing for construction contractors is particularly difficult to get in today’s lending market.  The new financing program, called the Greater New Orleans Contract Financing Program, helps address these issues.  The program will provide financing to all qualified construction contractors for mobilization and advancements on invoices at competitive rates. 

The new financing program was designed by DevCorp Contract Financing Facility LLC, (“DCFF”), a financial services company, and employs DCFF’s in-house facility for contract financing.  The Greater New Orleans Contract Financing Program will be operated by CAP in association with NAMC.
